my sincere opinion, five nights at freddys was a movie that i was waiting too much since 2016, in that year i took more importance the arrival of the movie and i kept with too much expectations, sincerely the movie after 8 years was worth it. maybe it is not the most perfect movie to have taken more than 3 years of development, but if you are a fan of the franchise is a movie that will seem perfect. but that's not how the cinema works, that's the biggest mistake of the movie. some scenes felt forced especially the ending, i am not saying that the movie is bad or less, i thought it was an incredible movie because i am a fan of the franchise and i captured everything they wanted to do.
the cinematography is what saves the movie the most, it has simply incredible shots and use of shadows.
Loading...Loading...and the scene that i disliked the most, literally seeing the characters super childish (i know they are kids... but they could have done it better and less...). .. but they could do better and less ridiculous)
Loading...and the opening sequence the old guard made me tense.
Loading...the introduction in 8bits with the music made by the NEWTON BROTHERS simply fantastic.
Loading...and the sequence of max's friends and his brother in freddy's was super cool and finally there is a little explanation why freddy has the hand mark on his face ( at least in this new universe )

the scene when girl takes abby where is ''ella'' could have been FREDDY that could be better bcs literally freddy is the main antagonist
Loading...and my god the springtrap scene that whole sequence is fantastic, but taking off the mask was great but putting it on when he was dying? seriously?
Loading...Loading...Loading...Loading...it could have been better if some animatronics put it back on when he stabs vanessa making a metaphor that he is no longer her father and it could have been freddy who could have put it back on.this way showing more protagonism on freddy's part. leaving that aside, the ''i always come back'' could have been a thousand times better when he was in the kitchen and golden was watching him.
for me one of the best characters of the movie, he is literally awesome in his spiritual form as well as in his more physical form (the animatronic) his acting was very good and that adds too much.
Loading...Loading...Loading...Loading...and i know that many love the cupcake's starring role, literally that cake stole all the antagonism of the 4 animatronics and i don't like that very much, it's good to show that he can also be scary but... ... taking away the big role of the real stars?
Loading...god... vanessa is just the wikipedia character literally she just do that, give more and more info with the past of the nights.
a rather wasted character
Loading...well you can tell that the movie is too short in editing. it went from 3 hours to 1 hour and 50 minutes...for me it was a bad decision to do that, there are people that will be happy with that and more the more objective audience but it all felt too rushed. . there are many ideas in the movie and none of them come to anything because we have to wait for the sequels... I like that but not at the same time. but what can we do... my humble rating for
the movie is a 7.9/10.
