So I have come to the conclusion of something. This game was not ready for release. The game has been broken in so many versions that I feel so ashamed of releasing the game in this state.

So as such I am pulling a Side Story and redoing the entire game. I have actually been redoing the entire game in GameMaker 2 for a while now, which explains the lack of devlog posts, but didn't know how to break the news. I'm a little annoyed that this is how I did break it, but at least now y'all know why Chapter 2 has been taking so long to release, as well as the radio silence on the game's development.

I was originally gonna drop the entire recoded demo, which was also to include an updated Chapter 1, when Chapter 2 was finished so both ends would get some new content, those who were interested and wanted to shell the $5, and the ones who were still on the fence about making the investment. Now the plan is to only release Chapter 1 when IT'S done, then work on and release Chapter 2 separately.

Also just like Side Story, the game has been delisted due to the lack of polish and general unstability of the game. Also don't be surprised if this page goes poof someday, as I may relaunch the game when the new Chapter 1 is finished.

I will note that this is NOT cancelled, I've invested WAY too much time into this game to cancel it, like almost 5 years, I'm just way to unhappy with the release of it and having people's first impressions of the game be THIS is unacceptable.

If you are still just a wee bit interested in the game, please stick around, this game will be very much improved and WAY more stable after the updated Chapter 1 demo is released, but that won't be anytime soon.
