New Main Menu - Main Menu now looks different from its original version.

  • Difficulties - From Very Easy to Overdrive. I want to make the game accessible for everybody: casual players or pros. So I added a lot of various difficulties for your comfort! Note that they also affect Custom Night.

  • Challenges - You can find challenges on cheats tab in Extras menu! These are made to make the gameplay harder.

    • Long Night - Increases night duration from 360 seconds to 480 seconds.

    • Classic Scanner - Returns the scanner mechanic from the classic FNaY3. Honestly, I always hated it when I had to wait until this line moves through half of the house to find Koakuma, so I count it as a challenge.

    • Greater Drain - Scanner drains energy twice faster. That's all.

    • Slower Movement - Returns the classic movement speed from FNaY3. It's not much of a challenge, but it's still here.

  • Character unlocks - Now you unlock characters in Extras in Custom Night as you progress in the game! ... ... ... Actually, Scratch has no save system, so I'll just make everything unlocked in later versions. Let's say, you've beaten the required nights, fine?

  • Faster night start - I think that waiting the whole 5 seconds until the night starts is toooo boring, especially with how much you'll probably die on a special challenge I have planned. So I reduced the waiting time on the night screen to 1 second.

  • Instructions - After you're done with reading the note, an instruction screen will appear. It basically retells you the note's info.

  • Scanner changes - Scanner now always shows Koakuma's location. It drains way more power to compensate its reduced usage. It also charges up way faster.

  • Instant movement - Now you can move around the house instantly! But don't forget about Koishi on Night 6 when I get to recode her, or else...

  • AI reworks - Now Youkais have whole new movement formulas to reduce RNG and make the game more fair.

This zone will project movement formulas for each Youkai currently available. I won't recommend you to read this if you wish to play the game like a game, not like a challenge, but the choice is yours:

Koakuma: 500-600 / (1 + (0.3 * (AI - 1))) (Her timer decreases each 0.1 second, so on AI of 1 she moves each 50-60 seconds.) If you use scanner alert on her, her move timer will be set on 80, so she'll move after 8 seconds.

Flandre: 5 / (1 + (0.1 * (AI - 1))) (Flandre subtracts one division of her music box each interval. So on AI of 1 she subtracts each 5 seconds.) If her music box ran out, she'll wait for 10-20 seconds to kill you.

  • Music Box - Flandre's music box now winds up each 0.15 seconds instead of 0.2 to compensate its insane drain on 20 AI.

  • BALLS - Uhh... I was too lazy to add stars, so you have BALLS INSTEAD!!!!!11111!!!!1 You get a ball for each night you beat. It projects the difficulty you've beaten the night on. Again, Scratch has no saving system... but I might try to add it later, although I am not sure if I'll be able to.

  • FACE THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE: 2/20 OVERDRIVE ALL CHALLENGES!!! Uhh... I mean... there's only Koakuma and Flandre available for now, so, uh... it's really easy.
