Fraction Labs - Development Post 2

Hey everyone! First off, we would like to apologize for the long gap between this dev post and the last. We have been hard at work on the game and we wanted to wait until we had more things to show before writing another post. However, that changes today!

These are some of the models that we thought we should show off today, as they don't give away a lot of the story and just to give you guys some new content.

Obviously, we have been working on a lot more than just models. We have been hard at work on the story and we have begun working on the blockout for one of the first main levels of the game (more info on that level in the next dev post.)

Otherwise, development is going smoothly. Game development is hard and takes a long time, however, that has never made us consider stopping work on the game. Lots of other models, textures, animations, etc. have been made that we haven't shown today.

Hopefully, the gap between this post and the next won't be as long. Again, we apologize for the wait!

With that, that wraps up the second development post. We hope to be able to write another one sooner rather than later!

See you next time!

Path of Kami: The Evolution of the Lore

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

Path of Kami, running around the shrine area

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)
