Set in a minimalist world, I can describe it as a 2D platformer that can go 2.5D at times.
The game supports a controller and a remappable keyboard.

Freedom is a minimalist platformer set in a somewhat colorful world gripped by a struggle between two factions. The "Reds" are seen as the enemies in that they are trying to take advantage of the "Blues", the group that the player is a child of.
Wearing a cat as a hat!
Not only can you pick up a cat, but you can also change its color in specific locations!
