Hi,
I can't sleep. So I am going to tell you a bunch of early DREADWALKER stuff, which I can now freely share because they are no longer relevant to the game or story.
THE HISTORY
I forgot which year this was, but I'll assume 2022 or 2021. John Knight, the protagonist, came from a scrapped gamemode of a cancelled game named "Five Nights at Puro's". It never got far, but the general idea was like TRTF 5 and you would be exploring Squid Dog's Family Diner.
This later evolved to INVESTIGATION: Thunder Science, which then turned to this game. I made a test scene of sorts, using screenshots of a scene with a unity asset I got with the camera around to simulate "movement". You awake in a hospital-like place, walk out of your room and see a box. That's it. I don't even remember what the contents were, exactly. So its story relevance to early DW is a mystery.
So, about a few months later from that... A friend of mine (well, I don't speak to them like others because idfk either but it still counts) named SpriteBear came in to make the assets for the floors, and creatures. I no longer have the images, or assets, unfortunately.
They created the "MK-VICTIM", which I came up with first. A white latex creature wearing a lab coat, with orange eyes. From Floor 1 rooms, up to Puro's room and the second part of Floor 1.
Unfortunately, the second part of Floor 1 was their last work on the game. They had to leave the project because of their TRTF 2 reimagined project (which I think you should follow) and overall life. Which I do respect. The good thing is, they did help me get a few things up and running. Who knows, I might bring back their MK-VICTIM with Froobina's help :)
But the worst part is that they had lost all of the files relating to the game, meaning they had to recreate EVERY thing. Model, etc. I think I still have the human models somewhere, so only my part is safe.
To finish, I would like to punch 2022 myself in the face. Thanks a lot.
Now, onto the...
CREATURES
The good ol' latex creatures. You know who they are, or why.
MK-SCREAMER
A dark latex creature wearing a strait jacket. No eyes, but a creepy smile. Assumed gameplay mechanic was that if you made too much noise, they would disorient you. (EX: Turning on and off your flashlight quickly, moving back and forth between rooms, etc)
PEPPERMINT BUNNY
Simple. A white latex creature bunny. Red hair, eyes, nose and a mouth. Their fur, ears, etc were highlighted by the colors of a peppermint. The interesting part? They had shoulder spikes. This was one of the last creatures SpriteBear worked on, but I don't think got finished or ever will. Who knows what their Peppermint Bunny would've looked like?
HOOKS-A-LOT
Literally furry Candyman. Hook for a paw. Unfortunately, they don't have any appearance descriptions. Aside from the "hook for a paw".
FAKE KENNEDY
A clone of Dr. K, themed after a jester. They were taller, pure red, and had shiny claws.
