she has a hard shell and likes latching onto certain surfaces

her eye has a protective layer that prevents particles from obstructing ( and potentially infecting ) it

she's an omnivore that mainly feeds off of plankton and marine snow but sometimes commits parasite-like behaviors to any unsuspecting victims large enough for her.

the edges of her shell is sharp and her teeth can latch onto a surface and vibrate rapidly quickly: allowing it to cut through certain material.

if she finds a suitable target to latch into, she'll go into a hyper-focused state and her eye is locked into their position as she essentially follows them until the perfect time.

she only strikes when you're not looking in her direction.

and just like the others, there is only one of their species alive due to their kind being a result of an experiment.

they all reside in a specific place with a depth alike to the hadal zone.
