In this gift, is a recording of a character mechanic programmed 100% completed! It is to simply showcase the art style of this game, the performance, and the idea on what is there to come. However, this is worth noting the build in the video is actually one of the builds before my computer’s hard drive accident, meaning what is seen on the video is going to be a bit different!
Speaking of which, progress is still being done, as more programming, art assets, and concepts are being surfaced around. A good chunk of the character mechanics are programmed, the menus are being polished, and the whole gameplay is being polished and balanced. I may have said this before, but the general gameplay mechanics are relatively going to be the same as the original Ultimate Custom Night with multiple tweaks. So for example, the way power is managed from Ultimate Custom Night will be different in Hack's Custom Night. The way byte coins can be collected have been tweaked. The better way to describe the game is: Hack's Custom Night is a differently balanced version of Ultimate Custom Night.
Anyway, I apologize for creating the hopes for HCN to potentially be done by 2020, I was hoping the game's structure would be finished by then, but unfortunately some events sort of prevented that from happening. The entire gameplay structure itself is completely planned out though, so at least this game will be able to head to the direction I vision it to be. I will not add a estimation for release date until I release a trailer for the game. With that said, I hope you all have a great day/night, lets bring cheers for the New Year!
