Happy Thanksgiving everyone. So to start things off, Creepypasta Museum 3D won Second Place in the Luigikid Creepypasta Challenge, and I did not expect that. I didn't want to mention it on that day because I was too excited after seeing that announcement. Now during that, Luigikid gave me some interesting advice that will be added in the future. He said:
"Only thing, Bones could have made it different. Since it was a 3D game, he could have made the levels a little less linear, and even add his own ideas."
I will agree about him saying the levels should be less linear since most exe games are just walking to the right. That's what I plan on doing in the future when making final improvements. Once all games are finished, I will make everything more 3D. However, some levels may stay the same layout due to the way they work. The main highlight will most likely be Hill Act 1, more on that when the time comes.
Next I wanna show a new feature that will come, and that is listening to the music from the games. This feature will include used and unused tracks. Right now it's a bit basic looking at the screenshot, but I will figure out how to make it more visual than just a picture of the game:
Names of the tracks here will change whenever MY5TCrimson brings back the soundtrack because it's not on the Gamejolt page or his channel.
And last I wanna talk about games in this collection. Since I wanna focus on nostalgia, I don't wanna go too far back. So since we are nearing the end of the year, this might be too modern, but I think games made before the start of 2018 will be included on this list. And since there are many games to go through making, the release date for these features and the games is once again unknown. Not just that but I have been getting attached to multiple projects that I need to drop. Also I got family, work, and even friends to worry about. So expect no other games besides this for possibly another year or two. I will still have mods updated if needed on Gamebanana, but new mods are gonna have to wait. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and I will see you guys in the next devlog.
