GameJolt API + Staying Focused

Yes, I've now got the GameJolt API implemented into Pitch Black! That's all I've really done since last devlog—But wait, didn't I say that I was going to finish the first area by the end of last week and that I was starting to implement the next enemy? Well, I kinda got distracted by other things (including the GameJolt API) and didn't really finish the first area or implement the second enemy. So, from now on, I will try to stay focused on what I'm planning to do!

Of course, I can't always do the things I say I'll do in these devlogs, but this time it's really just my fault for wanting to do other things instead. It's not a huge deal that I didn't do either of those things since I can still do them now, but it's just delaying the game further and further everytime I forget to do something important.

However, I kind of lied when I said I didn't do anything else since the last devlog, because I have been doing more art both for the game and the page, and I'm actually quite happy with the new thumbnail.

Anyway, that's all I have for now! And I will be seeing you all soon in the pitch black.

#WIPWednesday

I'm trying to find a way to redesign the Eye to be more creepy. This art is not meant to be a final design, I'm not proud of it, I was focusing on the lightning, but an idea I had while making it was adding spider legs

I've been working on a Godot 4.x GameJolt API plugin.

Forked from Deakcor's GJ API add-on with full documentation: https://github.com/IronBrandon/Godot-GameJolt-API

Devlog 14: It's been a while, huh?

I updated the thumbnail with the new logo. How does it look?

The Xbox controller I use to test my game just died :\

But the controls work well :D

I don't like the snow, but it reminds me of home."
