Gerzad's Threat Big Update; Changelog Below


Gerzad's Threat has received a massive update. Here are the notable changes:

  • New title screen and game over screens, by @WaailsCT.

  • Increased the EXP some early enemies give to reduce extended grinding.

  • Removed the Factory's last room (the one before the boss).

  • Changed the most important levers of the Factory to blue to distinguish them from the normal ones.

  • Roopin's boss fight has an additional phase and a new song.

  • Updated some character sprites to better and detailed ones, used in Metal Massacre. Edits were also made by @WaailsCT.

  • Cheatso's final message at the end of the bad ending was removed due to changes in plans.

  • Updated Roopin's voice lines. He is now voiced by M76030, just like in Plagued Fear and Metal Massacre.

  • Updated Deeman's design to the new one. This includes his voice lines, overworld sprites, face sprites, battle sprites, and more.

There may be more, but I can't remember everything. Next up, I plan on updating Plagued Fear.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.
