So, you may have noticed that i've almost completely stopped doing much of anything regarding game development, and it's because of two very big reasons :
1. Originality
So many game ideas have already been used, and i don't wanna seem unoriginal to the people nice enough to check out my projects...Thinking of a game idea that is either not done very often, and/or just wasn't ever thought of can get really hard for me at times, as most of the time my brain is like "Uhh...Just make another platformer game idk"
2. I am pushing myself way too hard
Earlier then, i swore i would use my own engines to create my games, and Godot, but now that i'm thinking about it, this could just also be a one way ticket straight to one hell of a burnout
There isn't really much of benefit on making games using strictly my own tools, other than the increased FPS and Compatibility with older OSes, and i would expect that most if not all of my followers are using Windows 11 at the moment (Or Linux with some type of distribution, or Mac OS), so i decided that i will use Godot more often to spare myself the trouble and insane amount of stuff i would have to think about in order to make a game
So what will happen to me using OpenGL? I wouldn't necessarily say i'm abandoning the idea altogether, i still love coding in C, despite the insane efforts and knowledge needed to make something enjoyable, so i will at least try to use it from time to time, but only in games whose mechanics are easy to implement
Tl;Dr : I'm gonna be using Godot for bigger projects, and my own engine (Project FGL, as i've called it) for the simpler projects
