Glow Drop Update: Visual Identifiers


So I thought I’d follow up on a few things I’m gonna be adding to the upcoming mobile releases of Glow Drop, this one is the visual identifiers.

As well as being cosmetic updates, these should tell the player of what is happening or has happened.

From Left to Right:

  • Connection Lines: Based on feedback from ketura, this will show the player a line of the connection between each drop.

  • Power Up Name: While I’m keeping the letters on the power ups themselves, the text near the top will say which one is currently being performed.

  • Background Alert: When the screen gets overwhelmed, the background will flash orange. I’m hoping to have it flash faster the closer it gets to game over.

I have also fixed a possible input issue where not all clicks/touches are registered, as well as an audio bug. These fixes have been included into the web version.
