Going Forward

Howdy! Yesterday, I released an early access build of Crab Dash. The reception was polarized, to say the least.

That being said, I’m continuing to plug away at the game, and hopefully soon there will be more for y’all to sink your teeth into.

I’ve accumulated a list of ideas I would like to try, which includes:

  • special pearls that are worth more

  • special algae that maxes out your dash bar for a limited time

  • a powerup that slows down the net

  • warp doors

  • breakable walls

  • floor spikes

This list is definitely not exhaustive, and I can’t promise that everything here will make the cut. But these are the things I’ll be trying out in the next few weeks.

I would love to hear your thoughts on other potential ways to expand Crab Dash. Thanks for playing!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
