Going Open Source!

Before I say anything else I would like to thank all of the people who showed such enthusiasm towards Kazootale. I know a lot of people are waiting for an Undertale fangame that would be even a fraction of the quality of the original game, but alas, we are not it. Kazootale started off as a joke project, but quickly became something I was deeply invested in developing it to its fullest.
In a couple of days I had already build most of the major parts of Undertale’s engine and was working on finishing up battles and adding support for textboxes. Unfortunately, this is where the story of Kazootale ends.
I stopped working on it for weeks and couldn’t bring myself to update it. So it sat on my computer doing nothing. Recently Peeto messaged me on skype asking me if we should cancel Kazootale, I had responded with “Yes.” I then followed up saying I would also release the source code for the community to have. There are many undertale clones out there, but most are closed source and the ones that aren’t are usually just battle editors. So here it is.

tl;dr
Source code requires Gamemaker Studio 1.4 or higher.
