Goodbye New World Remake: Dynamic Article!

This article will be updated regularly to keep you all updated.

As Usual, No spoilers, But be warned.

I have come upon a good idea! Instead of posting a new article every time something new and interesting happens, I could just edit a single article that people could check up on regularly! Now onto the good stuff:

‘The Good Stuff’

AI!
The first major improvement over the original that I have been working on is adding AI to the game… and it works. This will hopefully change the game from a corridor-jumpscare-spookfest into a game that could genuinely send shivers down spines. This new AI will be neutral until provoked (walked too close, or entered his field of view). After this, he will follow you, and, using their acute sense of smell (pathfinding and navmeshes), will intelligently navigate the world to find you. The game is no longer safe! These fully animated enemies are a threat to be considered. If you manage to get far enough away from them, they will stop looking for you.

Be sure not to run out of torches!
You’ll need ‘em!

The World
I decided how the world will be work, did a test run with it and it works seamlessly. the game will have a massive world, that the player can navigate at their own pace and even backtrack instead of having seperate areas that the player will jump to and from with a delay. You are probably wondering “But won’t this be a performance hit” which is the genius of the idea: It uses level streaming, meaning that the areas are in fact parts of the map that only load when you go near them.

Field Of View
A much requested feature is the implementation of a FOV slider, which has just been added and is functional, although still a bit clunky and featuring some quite hilarious Cameras….

Graphics!
Although the new graphics look awesome in my opinion, this wouldn’t be very convenient for those of you who use low end computers to play the game. So for this, I have made Scalable Graphics! This should allow the game to run on lower end PCs, while sacrificing some graphical quality.
Also just added a resolution changer, which lets you input your custom resolution.

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I just wanted to introduce you to my latest musical production and hear some opinions about it. Thank you very much.
