Again, due to Unity’s inconsistency and instability, some things have been screwed up.
First, the shaders. In a fairly recent update, Unity automatically changed the shaders in almost every material in one’s game, all on its own, without even prompting the developer. Because of this, in Black Rose’s latest update (and maybe the one before that, I’m not sure), some objects were not being lit properly, and looked bright, dull, and simply weird.
Second, a recent update Unity released has completely broken the animation of all lights. Because of this, the lights in the Visitation Room no longer begin pulsing and flashing, but rather stay at the same brightness, until they go out. Unity has acknowledged this bug, and has said that they are working on a fix.
I was not aware of these problems when releasing the latest update of the game, and thus released a screwed-up version of it. I should have paid more attention and tested the full game, rather than simply fixing a few quick things in the editor that I knew were problematic.
I do not want people playing a buggy game, and because of this, I am hereby disabling the download of Black Rose until the team over at Unity fixes their game engine. I’m sorry about this, I just don’t want to have a broken game being distributed. Hopefully things will be fixed soon.
Again, I’m sorry. I really hate to have to do this.
