Grubber cutscenes are just him slowly going insane because of the circus. (Overworked).
I would say that’s why he turned twisted, but he’s not my OC, this is just a headcanon.

Also, the minigames are just the toons interacting with each other. After that, it’s mainly focused on Brayden, Desi, Signey, Stardust, and Dream Catcher since they all have connected lore (screechingdinosaur’s oc are tied to mine, so in this case the scenario is indeed canon). I won’t spoil too much though. I’ll stay quiet.
