TALE of the SALESMAN

GUI help (for those who never played adventure games before).

I feel like this is just an Literature lesson now.

A. Command line:

The command line is used to create a text/sentence of what you want Bernard to do.

E.g. "Walk to Mona Queena"

B. Verbs:

The Verbs are used to create the first part of the command line, after clicking one you can click a hotspot or object on the visual screen to finish the command line.

E.g. "Pick up Mona Queena"

C. Inventory

Basically what's in your pocket, you can use them to help with puzzles or give them to other characters.

E.g. "Use Pizza El Potassio on Mona Queena"

Puzzle policy:

There aren't any protagonist deaths in adventure games becuase players often experiment with their surroundings and what they have in their inventory. If there were to be death in adventure games, they should only be in battles (which makes more sense).

If you come across a death just by experimenting, you're bound to get annoyed and slightly anxious of what you might die of next so it's best to keep deaths in battles to be on the safe side.

This frame is too good.

I'm gonna show you all what's NOT going to be in the game.

The addisons can't be in becuase the only playable area of the whole game is only the mansion (and you'll probably know why they're not allowed inside after you-know-who).

Wait... I just found out something...

You know those two new characters from Deltarune (moon and cloud dudes)... well, this unused character from Day of the Tentacle is called "moonglow".

Probably coincidence... but...

Sonic games portrayed by Looney Tunes.

Tale of the salesman in a nutshell.

"Now taking tours since 1997"

This has to be one of the most difficult backgrounds I have made so far.

"Can you believe we're getting paid to do this?"

Bernard somewhat knows how Kris feels... (watch till the end).

Why else would Spamton get Bernard to get the disk in this story before Kris?

(Footage from Day of the Tentacle)

I forgot to mention thta both creators of Deltarune and Day of the Tentacle met eachother.

Now that's a plus, and is rare for fanmade crossovers.

if SMB3 had act 2 variants of levels (inspired by Sonic Mania).
