Fast thinking space captains and, for lack of a better word, thiefs from popular franchises who are exceptionally cocky and have an often smug attitudes. They also have a love interest who is the daughter of an evil tyrant (Gamora and Leia).
Tbf the connections kinda rely on the MCU version of Peter so I in a way could be completely missing something in the comics
