Well.... There's no party, but this devlog is a very big and important one!

3 whole years! That's insane!

I just wanted to say that I really, really appreciate you guys's support and love. Look how far we've come! Thank you so very much for being with us and supporting our project, some have been here since the very start and I couldn't be more grateful.

Today, in our project's 3rd anniversary, and the launch date of apollo 14 in 1971 (That's cool as heck), we do our next big step! So strap on for the ride, this will be a big boy, folks!

💫 Orbit of Destiny

First and foremost, let's adress the big alien elephant in the spatial room, this absolutely breathtakingly amazing art made by returning Team Member @PrinceFloofy!

Don't think I'm ever gonna get tired from lookin at it....

Oh yeah, right! The big project update!
So, as you can see, we have decided! The project is now officially going to be called Outerswap: Orbit of Destiny! *(TSR is still our Team's name.)

There was a lot of thinking for this one, we chose Orbit of Destiny for a lot of reasons, not only for it being accurate plot-wise but also the most fitting in general.

If you were interested in name Outerswap: Chronos, don't fret. I have a really good idea and script of what I can do with it and the title fits very well, a DLC maybe? Well, just an idea but very hopefully if the project goes well we can make it!

🌟 New Sprites

We've decided that almost every Chasms enemy is going to have a Moon theme. Wonder how many name puns I can make.....

Here we have new sprites for Froggit and Whimoon, the most dynamic duo of froggi-fly. I completely just made that up, please ignore me.

We got a brand new sprite for Migosp, but he rebelled and changed his name to Mibbousp now. Wonder if you get the refference

Here's a brand new fellow you haven't seen yet, his name is Vegethulu. He's quite the little trickster!

✰ Game Updating and Polishing

We chat a bit about this in the Discord Server, and we decided on a brand new Battle UI System!

It's an original and wacky twist on the previous Undertale based one. Rotating buttons!

[For anyone sad about us "breaking" the 'magic' of the original Undertale, remember that our goal is not to copy undertale's nostalgic and simple style, but to completely modernize it and bring completely new stuff to the table, so you don't get boring from playing an old rpg game from 2015 all over again. That also goes for the sprites shading, which a lot of people aren't fond of.]

We've also polished the two in game menus, but do not worry that's not too much menu since both are for completely different stuff!

We added little icons for the Inventory Menu!

We've added an 'Extras' option for the Game Menu, so custom stuff like the customizable heart and flower walker unlockables can be turned on and off in-game.

🎦 Borders!

We have borders now, ladies and gents! And it's customizable!

Those are the two we have right now, but there will be a heck ton more in the future! I can't handle the excitement!! - A Border Enthusiast

👻 More on the Ghostly Duo

We have new previews on the Mad Dummy and Mettacritical boss battles!

You might have seen this one in the last devlogs, Mettacritical has a special microphone that when sung with, casts a spell on you and confuses your color senses! But you gotta smile for the camera!

And here's the brand new Mad Dummy design and battle! Someone hanged a coat on him by mistake so he scared the guy an stole it for himself! He also has a shuriken stuck to his head. Mad dummy battle sprite by our new Team Member @ScarredPixel123

We finally have the Chasms area theme! Done by Team Member @Basalt

Here's a sub-area theme, the Metro! Done by pogchamp @HelplessHarp

And now, my personal favourite since it reminds me of ape escape, we have the Starshatter enemy battle theme, by New Team Member Musician Synth Mints/Snowy!

🎂 Happy Anniversary!

We did some cool things to celebrate TSR's birthday.

👾 New UI Battle Visual Theme

So, since it's TSR's third anniversary today, I did something to pay homage for Lost Galaxies. (TSR's original name)
Back then, the AU was going to be an outerswapfell, but the project bloomed into an outerswap and the rest is history hah.

(GameJolt is making it low quality because of the purple and black)

This is going to be an unlockable customizable theme for Battle system only, called Classic Mode! This is how it looked like back then, cringy but honorable haha.

✨ Finishing up

It's been an absolute blast everyone, but this is starting to get into guiness' longest gamejolt devlogs contestants so ima have to cut it here.
