Happy new year and LW modpack anniversary day!


So, I am a bit late with new year, but thought not to write two things with a three days gap, so... yeah.

First of all, happy new year to everybody! I know, it's January 3rd and not the 1st, but still. I hope you all have good plans for this year. I spent new year's eve at my japanese friends who live in the same town as I do. We were nolifeing a board game, played Smash Bros, and even drew. Hell, we even went off canon a lot of times with what we were saying. And we died from funny a bunch of times.

Now, onto what this day is about.

A year ago on this day, I released the Lost Worlds Survival modpack on CurseForge. And now, on January 3rd, we are closing year 1. I wanted to release 1.4 on this day, but seeing how Morf is still not done with the configs for BiomeTweaker, that is pushed back. I will shortly record and publish an 1.4 showcase on YouTube, showing off the changes already made to the dev build. Plus, I promised to cook up an artwork for the LW Discord server. It will be used as banner for this community, as far as I can tell.

About other plans:

This year, I am planning on finishing Act IV of Ancient's lore. It has been displaced for a while due to other projects and school, but I've been working on it since first concept during last summer. (Hard to get used to the fact that it's 2024 now)

Also gonna make a few new things, but those are secret for now.

Staying in the Realm-Verse, I am counting on doing more artworks.

And hey, I'm turning 17 this year!

That's all... really. I hope you all got some good things to do. Let this new year be better than the last one, and don't make it worse than 2020.

Progress with the sketch

Scene 4 is how the Forestborn died prior to the comic's start, the character behind the killing blow won't be revealed and isn't canon to Undying at all other than the death. It's none of the characters in my lores, too.
