About future porting
Once, people played my ports - now those same players are developers in their own right. And I’m glad to see that. For me, Chrowden is an experiment in how far porting fnaf fan games to android can go. Many of them inspired me to do impossible things. It’s been a long journey, and now it feels like the right time to pass the baton on to you.
Isn't that right?
New technologies
For half a year now, I have been developing several new solutions that are recognized to speed up porting and improve the quality of ports. It's only now possible to use this, but it's still experimental and in beta. Among the features, it is worth noting support for transitions, shaders on layers and frames, a new sound engine, new texture formats, and much more. Some extensions have also been ported, including even firefly. And all this was in development before fusion 296. You can evaluate some of my modified runtime in this new port. At the moment, I’m thinking about ways to distribute this technology.
Some updates
None of the ports were perfect. Some even need a complete redesign, such as Post-Shift 2. Well... Each port will receive an update with the transition to a new runtime. But when will it happen? Even I do not know..
It’s already 3 AM. Ask your questions, I’ll answer them in the morning. good night
