Over this huge time gap, I have had some personal issues and severe lack of free time, as well as the feeling of burnout that led me to entirely give up on this project, or gamejolt as a whole.
Although I can't make any promises, my intention is, once I get some good free time, to manually assemble back the project with what's left of it, making it more tidy as a goal. Because, as is less publicly known, my project became unplayable and overly messy due to loads of different reasons.
Just as a disclaimer, if this does succesfully happen, don't expect me to make an incredible masterpiece that's bugless, has the best performance simultaniously as having the best visuals, amazing gameplay fluidity, amazing AI etc. Because, as I'm giving it my all, my only intention is to create something im content with, not compete with the best or claim to do what the HN developers didn't. Which mainly is another reason as to why I had felt this burnout lol. (Not that I feel obliged to meet a standard, but it's just tiring in the end) So, basically, if you have such expectations, this mayyyy not be the right place for you
I have no shame admitting that I was very ambitious with this project in the first place, so I'm willing to take it back step by step.
Though I will confess that the feeling of getting a notification of my game being commented on/liked is very much soul-crushing knowing i just ditched it lol
