Hey guys, Mindy from Mindy's Colorful World is now a custom character in Super Mario Bros. Remastered!

UPDATE (9/01/2026): Fixed her climbing animation and color palette.


Instructions

  1. Have Super Mario Bros. Remastered on your computer (how else are you gonna use the character otherwise)

  2. Download the character using the link below and extract the ZIP file

  3. Open your appdata folder by executing Windows + R and typing in "%appdata%"

  4. Locate the folder SMB1R

  5. Place Mindy's folder into "custom_characters"

  6. If all of these are done correctly, you should have Mindy as a selectable character.
