Hot take: Rage mode isnt that bad and is more tolerable than unfair.
While yes, good players can just use it to get an advantage cause they just cant bear fucking losing, it can also be used as an assist. I just say the biggest flaw with it is that once its over, theres really no benefits after, you just go back to being the shit 2011.
