How #IFoundMinecraft Is actually a bit of an interesting story.

Years ago when I was little I was at the house of my moms friend, and had actually never owned a game before.

I think I was like 10 or 11 or something?

Anyways, she had a couple sons who were a good bit older than me, and they let me play Minecraft with them.

Could be wrong but it was pretty much the first time I’d ever played a real video game.

I remember specifically they had too many items installed, and a creature mod that added scorpions. There was a fortress they’d built and they decided it could be mine while I was there. I still remember how it looked.

Then they had some iron golems fight some monsters or something. They were later on scolded for showing me violence lmao. Different time.

I was known for being super sensitive to violence, but frankly it didn’t bother me. I’d go on to play Half Life 2 when I was 12, thinking Star Wars would be worse (I’m not kidding)

I was more afraid of the idea of violence than the actual thing.

I was a weird kid

Anyways, a couple years and a DSI later, my dad got me my first lap top. My Uncle #### introduced me to Steam and Portal, I got Kerbal Space program and my dad and I started a space race for the moon (he won, although his kerbal never made it home, his ship was destroyed, and the kerbal stuff actually happened before the lap top not after)

And I started watching DanTDM videos like CRAZY!

Actually I think that was also before the lap top, but before I got the lap top I wasn’t able to really get into Minecraft, since I only got to play it every other weekend. (This was around 1.8, though I had started playing in 1.6.)

Throughout my life it’s the game I’ve by far come back to the most, and will always have a special place in my heart.

And that’s the story of how I discovered Minecraft! ^.^

#GJAsks and it's not a "movie" exactly, but Sauria (and pretty much anything) by David J Armsby is amazing and I would love to play a game set in that world! It's super unique and the vibes and concepts on display are excellent!

Followed along with this silhouette thingy. Pretty much spot for spot, but still ended up making something pretty unique I think.

I like how it turned out, very different than what I would usually do ^.^

I think my favorite scary game would have to be Little Nightmares 2. Not just for being scary, but for being beautifully atmospheric, tragic, and yes, heartfelt.

Not a movie, a short anime, but I can't recommend Another enough! Great twist and concept!

Welp, I'm no #renaissance master. If this were a commission from Mojang or something, I could spend the extra time fixing/cleaning up, but I hope y'all get a chuckle out of it.

I call it: Renaissance Minecraft With Obligatory Drapery

Couldn't help but try my hand at just tweaking the OG peach design. Obviously left one is mine, right one is the OG.

Honestly, it's not bad. I don't generally like the aesthetics as much but I tried to keep the soul of the original intact.

Can I just say, one of my favorite most wholesome things to do and see on this site is just :

"Hey, I really like that thing you made, especially the <X>"

"Thankyou so much"

"You're welcome"

It seems small but it really means the world I think ^.^
