So, Quadratic Attack 3D is actually a sort of 3D re-make of a game I made for a competition. The game in question, Quadratic Attack: Doctor Blocky Strikes, only had boss fights. The plan was to have full stages, but alas, I didn’t have time to do that the first time around. So that’s difference #1 right there: Quadratic Attack 3D actually has levels. As a result, I won’t be touching much on the levels when discussing differences the two games have. Difference #2 is that Quadratic Attack 3D doesn’t let you crouch, unlike the original. It’s not nearly as important in this one as it was in the original, and quite frankly it only helped so much even then. In Quadratic Attack 3D’s current state, this means there’s only one more thing I can touch on, and that’s the difference between the old battle against the Electric Quadratic, and the new battle against it.
So, what’s different? Well, a quick rundown, with GIFs:
Before, the Electric Quadratic had these two attacks:

Now, it still only has 2 attacks, but they’re different, with one being a spread of up to 5 projectiles, which is somewhat randomized in which of the projectiles it chooses to fire, and the other being that it can launch 3 lightning projectiles upwards, which then proceed to move to your location and attack you from above. So, over all, I think the battle has changed for the better.
And now for a question: Should I make more posts like this? If you found this interesing, please let me know. I want to know whether or not I should cover this more in the future, or whether I should just leave all my future posts for this game as update announcements and such.
