In an article with Eurogamer, Hideo Kojima discussed how he selects the music for his games. Evidently, Kojima first heard Low Roar, a band heavily featured in Death Stranding, on the radio while shopping in Iceland. He immediately knew their sound was just right for his new project. We're grateful for Kojima's keen ear for tunes, as we've been fans of Low Roar ever since!

It's no secret that the music of Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding was an integral part of the game's identity. While the gameplay of the first "strand game" was divisive, most would agree that its Soundtrack was a perfect fit for the dystopia Kojima built.
