Junko Okazaki - The True Christian and the True Neo-Logos ~ Renaming of the whole fangame series to something that suits her theme
Akira here!
You see, many music videos of Yumemi's theme Strawberry Crisis!! contains the imagery of crosses, and the lyrics of the male choir in the video above contains the words that are commonly used in Catholic Latin hymns and prayers, so in my opinion, Yumemi is actually a Christian in disguise. And so is her daughter in my Touhou AU, Junko Okazaki.
You see, most Junkos in video games are bad guys (think of Enoshima Junko, Junko from LoLK, and you will get the answer), so I decided to make a Junko who is entirely morally pure, who is deserved to be a hero, and also cute and beautiful too.
Also, since Satori owns Utsuho as a pet, which can be compared to the Devil but with nuclear powers, then I realized that Satori must be an Antichrist-like figure, not the Jesus-like character I shaped in SAAD. Having such a villainous character as the protagonist is unacceptable considering a person who really wants to be a hero like me (even though Despicable Me series has a villainous character as the protagonist (even though he quit evil right after the first film).
Furthermore, Junko is an OC entirely created by me for a Touhou fan project. Adding fan-made characters for fan projects of the Touhou Project is not new (see this page), and perhaps one of the most popular fan-made characters is Mitori Kawashiro, which is the fan-made half-sister to Nitori Kawashiro, and I considered her to be "Red Nitori" due to her color scheme. I would like to add some originality to my games, since most Touhou fangames have existing characters in Touhou Project as playable characters, so creating a fan-made character and set it as the playable character is the first thing I could think of when trying to make my game stand out from other Touhou fangames.
I am also heading to rename the whole series and delete the SAAD community and replace it with the community of the renamed game series!
I will announce all of these, including art of Junko, the name of the series after renaming, new logo, and the series' new Wiki on my birthday, May 26th (the same day as South Park's creator, Matt Stone!)
No more news about Junko until May 26th!
