Both of Chimata and Yumemi's appearances are somewhat similar: Both wear capes, both wear long-sleeved, knee-length dresses, and both have similar hairstyles.

The opening melody of Chimata's theme somewhat resembles part of the opening melody of Yumemi's theme, Strawberry Crisis!!.

Both are final bosses of their respective games.

Both uses a certain color as the main color of their bullets. In Yumemi's case, her bullets are mainly red in color, while that Chimata's bullets are rainbow-colored. And red is a part of the rainbow (it's obvious).

So, if Sumireko is called the "Windows version" of Yumemi, then Chimata must be considered "Yumemi Okazaki' Windows version, 2.0".

I also think up a meme where Madoka Okazaki from my Touhou AU fangame series mistakes Sumireko and Chimata for Yumemi for all those similarities to Yumemi. Hence the nickname I gave to Chimata, "rainbow mommy god of the Cross".
