It’s been a while since the last real update. So far the game’s sample version is near completion as all 3 levels for it are complete and the only parts to finish up now is the menus and music.
Speaking of music, I am proud to announce that after months of searching for a composer for this game, I’ve finally found a composer who is perfect for the job! Dan Wrigley will be creating new original songs for Project Smallbot: Light as well as remastering and/or remixing a few songs from the original Project Smallbot!!! He is a very talented composer/musician who is skilled in many genres of music. Electronic, Instrumental, Chiptune, you name it, he can do it. I’m very exciting to be working with Dan Wrigley and I’m sure he’ll make the best music for this game.
He’s already composed a main theme for Project Smallbot: Light! This is an amazing song that throwbacks to the 90s SNES era of video games. It evolves the original Project Smallbot theme while still being it’s own thing. This isn’t the final version of the song, but still does represent what the final version will be like. Expect more music by Dan Wrigley to be shown off in the coming months!
Please enjoy and have a Happy Holiday!!!
