Taking one last aim
Solace on all of their names
See the enemy in front of me
Monsters face an epiphany
It's "eye for an eye"
Those other kids didn't need to die
So, now they'll all see
The real monster here is ME!
After my long journey down the mountain and this
hellhole
A justice, I will serve
Though all of these cowards are just enemies
retreating
They will get what they deserve in the end!
Call myself the sheriff, but can I be content with
All the dust that's spread?
Through all their screaming, I still hear them pray for
mercy
But like them, I will not end up dead!
Is this real justice? Is this what I wanted?
The more I kill, the more I find that I don't care
In the back of my mind
I remember all of their bright-eyed smiles
Call it vengeance, sure, but I'm doing this out of
L-O-V-E
I don't gain pleasure from seeing the light leave their
eyes!
Once upon a truthful time
I showed them all my fury
Sharp-shooter in their prime
Executioner, judge, and jury
Taking one more aim
Solace on all of their names
See the enemy in front of me
Monsters face an epiphany
It's "kill or be killed”
I feel like this has become a thrill
Am I still in the right?
There's no choice, continue to FIGHT
The fallen six before me, who the monsters thought
would kill them and
Would start another war
All their souls were taken, and their bodies left defiled
So them, I will now show them what-for
When I find I've killed all of the monsters in an area
I beckon at that call
They're calling me determined, though my vision's
turning yellow
And I don't know who I am anymore
Is this real justice? Is this what I wanted?
The more I kill, the more I find that I don't care
In the back of my mind
I remember all of their bright-eyed smiles
Through the flower's power, there's no way that I will
ever know defeat
But why is it that I can only see in shades of grey?!
Once upon a truthful time
I showed them all my fury
Sharp-shooter in their prime
Executioner, judge, and jury
