Hey guys!
This is a post where I’m going to share some huge news about ONaSC: SL! As such, prepare to do some reading. ;)
Development
Well, development has been going better than I expected! In the latest update, I have…
Finished character animations (excluding jumpscares)
Made the Office 100% functional
Got someone to voice Phone Guy (Thanks, /u/mister_polygon!)
Created the Phone Guy script
So yeah, I did way more than I thought I did, and as such, I can move on to the bigger stuff, such as:Animatronic AI
Jumpscares
The end-of-night Cutscene
The Extra minigameAt first, I thought that the game would be released sometime in November, but with the work I’m getting done, it could very well be October! :)
However, if I still don’t have the game finished by mid-December, I’ll just release what I have. But then again, that probably won’t happen.I can guarantee that ONaSC: SL will be the final canon game in the One Night at Scratch Cat’s series. It’s been more than a year since the release of ONaSC 1, and as such, I think it’s time for the series to come to rest
However, if I were to use the ONaSC characters again, I’d use them in:A remake of ONaSC 1 and 2
A smaller non-canon game
However, ONaSC World probably won’t happen. I’ve been working with someone on the game, but I haven’t gotten in touch with them since March.
I’d also like to note that this will be my last FNaF fan game for quite a while. I’d like to focus on another game I’ve been making called “HACK.” ONaSC: SL has taken almost all focus off of HACK, but once SL is released, I’ll get to work on HACK.
Countdown!
As progress increases on ONaSC: SL, I’ll release some cool new stuff on the game page, such as…
70% Complete: Trailer(?)
75% Complete: Gameplay Screenshots
80% Complete: Character Sketches
95% Complete: A final announcement on the future of ONaSC
100% Complete: Release! :)
Well, that’s all the news for now. See ya on the flipside! ;)
