I always had a issue with new minecraft texture

(btw this is just my opinion)


i always felt the new texture of minecraft feel to fancy and too cartonnish to fit in minecraft, minecraft is a simple game so it's logic that the game had simple texture but the new texture make minecraft look like a next gen game with next gen graphics, you just can't put new fancy texture over a game that as simple graphics, if mojang want to make minecraft look like a next gen game with they texture then why they don't update the graphics of the game? is just the new texture feel off and doesn't fit with minecraft aesthetic for me a least, they feel to fancy to be in minecraft
