Since I've currently nothing to do, decided I'd replay this flash game (SM63) again.
Realized you can tap-flood and then hop right as you touch water so you gain momentum slower if you had to deal with something... Only now I realize...

Roulxs Kaard's first costume has a bit of offset compared to the second, or reverse.
Best to go to this position and look at the empty space left between Roulxs and the wall with both costumes.
