Melody was being tested, upon the mechanics noticing small errors, Melody lets out an static sound and tried to attack them, one of the two mechanics did get a wound, Melody was left unfinished and still in the parts and service in case of needing parts.

What if the incident didn't happen?:
She would be in one of the rooms and perform, her missing hand now having an puppet and meant to entertain

What about mechanics? :
If she is in the hallway, similar to lake, just flash the light however doing so you are just making her go back to the parts and service(or in this game's case Maintenance room).
(PS: She looks bad Ik but it's intentional since she is meant to be unfinished)
