I'm starting to lose faith in my musical ability.

Earlier today, @ddemkoo posted his new track Motions. I loved it, but I felt something else while listening to it. After some thought, I've come to realize that that feeling was shame, in a way.

I feel like no matter what I do, EVERYTHING I make sounds the same, with little variety. Like, whenever I try to write some chords, they usually ALL sound the same. It's getting really degrading.

I do get that 1 year of doing music (or anything really) isn't long. But the repetitive nature of my current process is getting to me.

And, I'm not exactly rich either, so I can't get any high-end sounds like Omnisphere or Serum, so I feel like my sounds also never change. Any tutorials I find don't help either.

TL;DR, I feel bad about my music.

If anyone can tell me any good free VST's for FruityLoops or any good tutorials, please do. Thanks for reading, just had to vent.
