that feeling when you're making a retrostudio game that's literally a flood escape ripoff

I've been working on this dream metroidvania game for a week or less, spent my entire day on this enemy. It took me until yesterday to 'finally add jumping'. The platforming feels really fun to mess around with, and feels like Castlevania.
