I had many ideas how to set it up so war happens when Chara is a kid and her parents dying to that.
But that's problematic.
I believe it's even more emotional if I just make Chara remember what happened and perhaps a letter that was left by her mom.

I know this isn't nessecary at all, almost anybody would play this with base arrows, z and x but I wanted to see if I can manage to do it

I released the modded version of the fangame with some small changes, all of them are in the article of this post!
I hope it's not more buggy than the original due to some mistakes I could have made
