I have an update for Smash Bros. Alpha!


Here, I've decided to start my update with 16 characters, because you gotta start small. This is just version 1, so, here's the following characters that will be there:

Veterans:

Mario - Super Mario Bros.

Donkey Kong

Link - The Legend of Zelda

Samus - Metroid

Yoshi - Yoshi's Island

Kirby

Fox - Star Fox

Pikachu - Pokémon

Newcomers:

Waluigi - WarioWare

Batman

Spider-Man

Darth Vader - Star Wars

Mickey Mouse

SpongeBob SquarePants

Dexter - Dexter's Laboratory

Goku - Dragon Ball

The other 674 characters are still in the waiting room. But, in the meantime, you're gonna have to stick with those characters for now. So, while we wait for more characters, we also wait for the game, so, keep on waitin'!

...how many times have I said "wait"?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
