I have yet to meet a person in real life who understands the meaning of “mhm”
They always seem to think I’m saying “hmmmm???” Which I have repeatedly told them I have never and will never say
Like, the sounds are so different. “Hm?” Ends on a higher note and “mhm” literally has two syllables. For goodness sakes people WHY DOES NO ONE ELSE GET THIS?? 🤣
Besides, we should just say “huh?” Anyways, it’s more clear and distinct, and it’s what I always say, and my way of speaking is objectively correct bestowed upon me from the heavens (totally) so we should all just speak the way I do fr fr
