It was night at specifically 1:23 AM. while Mieko was having a peaceful, quiet rest after a long day of work! Until Dazai knocked on her door. He kept on knocking on the door too, so it's not like she could've gone back to sleep while he was doing that. Mieko yawned as she walked out of bed and opened her door. Before she could speak, Dazai immediately clung onto her leg. He was too short to fully hug her.

"Mama.. Can I sleep in your bed tonight?"

Dazai asked Mieko quietly. He was tired, but he didn't wanna sleep by himself.

"Why?, don't you have your own room-?"

Mieko didn't fully understand why he wanted to sleep in her bed instead of his own.

"I.. I Don't like being in the dark."

Dazai didn't really care about the dark. He made up a lie just for an excuse to sleep by his mom. He just didn't wanna be alone.

Mieko already knew Dazai wasn't afraid of the dark and he was just a clingy child. But she decided not to call him out on that.

"I'm not sure.. Are you gonna pee the bed?"

Mieko asked Dazai seriously. The last time Dazai slept in her bed, he peed on it by accident from drinking and not using the bathroom before bed.

"Maybe..?"

Dazai said quietly. Not fully sure.

"Then I can't allow you to sleep in my bed, Osamu."

"Please! I don't wanna be alone!!"

Dazai begged Mieko, trying to get her convinced into letting him sleep in her bed.

"Alright, fine."

Dazai screamed happily and he immediately jumped in Mieko's bed. Getting comfortable with the blankets.

Mieko went in the bed as well, after a few minutes, they both fell asleep peacefully as the night continued.

Timeskip to 8:34 AM.

Mieko woke up from her sleep and she yawned. Suddenly, she felt something that smelt bad and the bed felt wet for some reason. She realized something..

"Did he really just pee on the bed."
