I just found almost an entire comment section (like 240 comments) being transphobic

This image is a great example

This is not okay


What's even worse is that they deleted a comment I was responding too with my message at the top.

No idea why people do this.

Some more context; the short was about a war vet or something finding out his son transitioned into a woman, or is atleast trans, and he looked genuinely devastated.

A reaction like that from the dad, and almost the whole comment section COMPLETELY agreeing with him is not okay. AT ALL.
