Cuz like, when Lyzo was a kid she looked similar to her father, and her mother HATED that, so uh,, led to Lyzo being her second least favorite (Lyzo's twin, Amiel, being her least favorite) (so that's where the idea of the trend being of her mother seeing child Lyzo looking like her father) and so in the future, Lyzo changed to look more like her mother (so, that's where the idea of doing it where her father looks at her in the future and thinks she looks like her mother) .

I dunno which to do tho,,
