I think it makes sense, when out of battery he falls down so his stomach hatch then makes us into a "meat pretzel".
Also it would be a good reference to animatronics from before which were originally designed to kill people from their inside hatches stuff.

I know that I should be doing my work rn, but I just wanted to say that in my opinion it would be cooler if Freddy except of jumpscaring us when out of battery his stomach hatch would just kill us from inside and we'd have a view of that or smth.
