Right now you might be swearing at me for not having realesed the game by now...
I have some excuses:
1-I have reworked everything in the game 3 times and now I'll tell how the process has gone.
green hill: used to a simpler stage with a few slopes and a loop then it used the structure of the original Sonic 1 game and then all the sprites were reworked and enhanced a way that my computer lags with opening it.
Green hill act 2(formly ungreen hill):this stage was added in the second rework and followed the yellow-themed design of Sonic pc port and sonic.OMT now it is white-themed and has 3 death sences for itself
Hill:it was the second stage after green hill to ever be created in Sonic.XIR's development it had been reworked several times to get to where it is right now.
Hell:this stage mainly focused on the gameplay rather than the artwork it has one death sense overall becuse finishing it without losing a life was impossible now you will be given 3 lives and losing them will trigger an ending.
Home:This stage used to be very short and didn't have much to deal with but I'm planning to make it an open world stage.
Sonic.XIR boss:this boss stage is after you finish Home Zone it is still very simple but I'm planning to expand it into a challenging stage.
(Still nameless):This stage is after tails gets demonitized by Sonic.XIR it follows tails.XIR as the gets mutated into a beast in Sonic.XIR's Palace The picture you see in this post it a background in it.
Hide and seek:This stage was added along with ungreen hill I think it's the only hide and seek stage in the Sonic.exe community where you actually play hide and seek instead of a chase. In this stage you hide from Sonic.XIR and also try to find him. I still wanted to keep the chase becuse it's very memorable to the .EXE community.
(Still nameless):this is not a stage but a cutsence which triggers a death sence or continue the gameplay based on certain actions in the previous stages.
Tails:Our little fox has been a pain in my neck as I have CHANGED HIS DESIGN FOR 4 TIMES NOW.His gameplay still hasn't changed but I'm planning to adjust the physics of NSSSW with my game.
Knuckles:He has truly been a challenge to me in my whole spriting ages. I have changed his design everytime I boot up my computer since I stepped into the spriting community but now I have a solid sprite for him which I'm not gonna change.
Shadow:He was added in the first rework and hasn't anything special. He owns one unfinished stage and a day of my life even tho He is going to be scrapped from the game I'm still going to leave him in the game as I have put effort into him.
Sonic.XIR:finally. Time for the demon himself. Sonic.XIR was the only character who took it easy on me and his design was only changed one time during the development.
That was it for the stages and characters. Overall I'm not having much problem with the development tho I do need some help:
Voice actors:I need some voice actors for Tails,Sonic.XIR and Tails.XIR.
Spriters:I've come to a belive that no one can help me with sprites But I truly need someone to rip some sprites from some mods and this is necessary.
Composers:I need someone to make the music for me as I have little experience in making music.
Beta testers:Sonic.XIR is going be really long even for the Tails demo so I need some people to test the game for me.
And finally that's it I have pretty much mentioned everything(If I had put this effort of writing this into studies I'd be living on Mars now lol)
