I'm finished!

So I finished my entry for #GJJam3, it’s not quite I hope it will be mostly because I had not as much free time as expected. I’m quite happy that I participated in this jam because it was fun making my game!

What went good:

  1. General idea for a game: Yeah it is super simple, but since there was no theme I said to myself winter has come do something about winter!

  2. Coding: I didn’t strugle with anything really and everything wen’t really well.

  3. Sleep: Even I had a really little time I still had enough sleep during the jam! (:

What went not so good:

  1. Graphics: Yeah I’m not really what you call an artist.

  2. Sounds: Ain’t nobody got time fo dat! I know it’s better in all possible ways to have a sound in game even just simple, but I can’t do anything about it right now really.

What went wrong:

  1. Framework: It was my second jam game which I was developing in Monogame instead of XNA and I just found out it has no Fonts implemented so far, I used a console in this game to show some necessary information, but at first I thought about making it fullscreen and this didn’t make it possible.

  2. Time: Yeah I talked about it a lot before so I guess there is no further explanation needed.

Overall:

A great jam which I found out about just few hours before its beginning, but I really enjoyed participating!

Good luck everyone in their development and thanks GameJolt for making this great jam!

Keep coding!

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
