Five Nights at Fuckboy's is a classic. Every FNaF fan has at least heard of it and it has received plenty of praise over the years, which it does deserve. However, in my personal opinion, it is very overrated and has not aged particularly well, and other than leaving it at that, I'm going to go in-depth and explain my reasoning behind this opinion.

Gameplay: The gameplay of this game is your pretty average run-of-the-mill turn-based RPG Maker game with not much more to its identity than that. The combat is unbalanced and leaves much to be desired. The "quests" are unengaging and not unique, which isn't an issue till you realize every quest in the game is the exact same; a generic fetch quest where you get an item and bring it back.

Visuals: This game visually looks like ass, over 90% of the graphics are just stock RPG Maker graphics and the original art is shite aside from a few battlers. The battlers are just stock images that have been edited, which adds a certain level of charm but still looks tacky.

Story: The story is near non-existent in the base game, which isn't really an issue nor a bad thing. The story that is there is engaging and it leaves me wanting more, which is a shame due to the lack of it in this game. The scenario having the most story, being the w scenario, ends on a cliffhanger which doesn't get picked up till FNaFb 3, which makes sense but is still annoying.

Other: This game's humor is really good, it is probably the best aspect of the game and what it is best known for. The humor in the game is not for everyone, that's for sure, but I still think that it manages to do its job in managing to get a laugh out of the player by hearing funny bear say fuck every two sentences.

I know that I shouldn't criticize the game too much because it was made by inexperienced developers in a short amount of time with little resources. The game is not the worst, nor is it even really bad. It has loads of charm and can be incredibly funny at times. However, the game is also not the best game ever made as some people make it out to be. It has its issues, as all games do, but the issues in this game are pretty bad and shouldn't be overlooked.
