I want to clarify that I've first played the original freeware version years ago and then the 2025 remastered, just so people can't threat me to call me a "fake fan"

either way, I played the remastered and I honestly love it, I dare to say that is an improvement from the og game, yet, some OFF fans apperently don't know what the concept of personal preferences is. Everytime I try to express my personal feelings there's at least a group of 4 fuckers harassing me, now why is that? I personally believe that the fandom dislikes the remastered just because of the loss of ACC soundtrack (which is the original composer of the freeware version). I don't hate the 2008 soundtrack, heck, I was a bit dissapointed when I heard that the og soundtrack was going to get replaced in the remastered, even if Toby Fox and Nightmargin were involved. Well, the new soundtrack is not bad at all and I prefer SOME of the new tracks over their original counterparts (remember that I said SOME of the new tracks), yet apperently OFF fans treat the new soundtrack like it's the end of the world and harass the people who understandably like it. Let me say something, a soundtrack change because of copyright issues doesn't ruin an entire remastered, it does have different vibes for sure but I feel like that all the criticism comes from only, and just, the soundtrack change, I barely see people criticizing the remastered for other things. Criticism is ok, but it can't be the only reason why the thing is bad and according to you people shouldn't touch it, it's straight up stupidly cartoony.

I won't deny that the Undertale/Deltarune fandom is awful, especially after everything that has happened in these days, but OFF fans have no reasons to criticize since they act with the exact same behaviour. I just want to like things without getting harassed, man
